Trouble brewing...

Hello All!!

Well, things are starting to show signs of trouble with our house sales. The NH house had its home inspection and all went fine. We have yet to see the actual report or inspection results, but there were no major issues. But, the buyers have gone with a different bank and now want to lower the price again (by $4000) and want to change the purchase date. We are pretty firm, that we are willing to lower the price, but cannot change the purchase date. It's all very close, we have to be out of the temporary housing by October 15th, have to move our stuff out of storage on the same date and the sellers for our TN house are already wanting us to move in sooner. SO, please pray that the buyers of our NH house will be able to go with the October 15th date, so things will work out smoothly on the other side. We realize that these kind of things happen all the time, but it is stressful when you're the one it's happening to!

Bogdan, Gabriel and Marian had a great time bowling yesterday and Marian even bowled a strike!! All caught on video on Bogdan's cell phone, so if we can download it from his cell phone, we'll put the video up on the blog.

Anna had her first appearance in the school band this past weekend. She and other 8th graders played with the Oak Ridge High School Band at the Homecoming Game (football) for Oak Ridge High School. She had fun and among the songs they did were "The Star Spangled Banner", "The Fite Song" and "Crazy Train" (Yes, Ozzy Osbourne!)

Karen will be in NH for a short weekend from October 1-4. She will be there for the burial service of family friend, Alma Lum, which is on Saturday October 3rd. She will also look in on the NH house and do anything needed as a result of the home inspection. (Hopefully not too much!) So, if you see her around town, you're not seeing things!

Gabriel turns 11 this week and will celebrate his birthday (officially) by going to the UT (that's University of Tennessee) game against Ohio with Bogdan on Saturday.

Thanks for reading and have a great week!
