What would school be without the occasional field trip?? But, let me tell you, they have gotten high tech!!
Anna is off to a Colonial Williamsburg field trip this week, they just finished a History project on it and Anna got a 97!! Her report compared and contrasted clothing fashion then and now. Her most interesting and disgusting (she tells me) fact was that no one wore underwear in Colonial times!
Gabriel is off to a math league meet this week in nearby Franklin, TN and he will stay overnight there. He is very excited and says this math team is SO much better than the one in NH.
Not to be left out, Marian is also going on a field trip (no overnights for 1st graders) to the Science Museum as well as a performance at a local theater. Her friend Scarlett is coming over for a play date today, a big move for Marian (accepting new friends here).
